The Acer Aspire V3-572G-543S is a good all purpose laptop with great computing power and graphic rendering capabilities. Launched in January 2015, the Acer boasts “premium performance” with its 5th generation Intel i5 processor and the all new Precision Touchpad, which allows you to navigate more easily around Windows’ 8 touchscreen oriented interface (to evade the lack of a touchscreen capability, a feature many contenders already implemented in their newer models).
October 2019 Update:
There’s a newer model available, the Acer Aspire 5 A515-54G-5928.

The other selling point would be the graphics processor: a powerful unit with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory, enough to run many contemporary games at decent frame rates. It’s not a gaming laptop and they aren’t trying to fool anyone with it, but it’s a very good tool if you need a portable device that can easily handle image manipulation software, play 1080p movies with ease and run a host of resource intensive games.
Also, a big plus for this laptop is the presence of the recently introduced 802.11 ac WLAN connection. A few years back, most laptops came with a 802.11 b/g/n receiver, and it only allowed limited transfer speeds via wireless network. With the advent of ever faster internet cable speeds, new and faster routers also emerged, which forced producers to adopt this new ac protocol, one that is up to 3 times faster than the old system.

Final Words
The main pros of the laptop are:
- Good CPU, GPU and RAM specs
- Adequate hard disk space
- Display resolution (Full HD)
- Battery life
The main cons are, as follows:
- Bulky
- No SSD available
As we can see, the Acer has way more pros than cons. It may be fast and fair priced, but it’s also not very portable. You won’t want to travel half the world with it in your backpack. However, it’s an ideal desktop replacement. You can carry it around your house with no issues and still benefit from lightning fast Wi-Fi speeds and improved battery life.
