Named by ASUS as “the laptop of tomorrow”, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo Ux581 is a notable mobile workstation. Not necessarily because of its specs alone, but also thanks to its iconic design. You can either love it, or hate it. There’s no middle ground. Personally, I think this layout (keyboard on bottom, two screens on top) works well, but only in the context of a workstation, where you’re more than likely to work with either a mouse or a stylus.
MSI have brought to light the new WS65 mobile workstation series. They’re powerful, ready to tackle everything a pro designer or engineer will throw at them, and they’re ridiculously expensive. Today I’m looking at the MSI WS65 9TM-857 model, which features some serious hardware options, but costs about as much as a second hand car.
Gigabyte, the Taiwanese computer manufacturer, has recently rolled out another model of their Aero series. Aided by Microsoft’s very own artificial intelligence technology, “Azure AI”, the Gigabyte Aero 15 Classic-SA-U73ADW is a laptop that’s useful for working professionals, casual gamers and students as well. It comes with decent features, great specs, but also suffers from one or two drawbacks.
