The Spin series is Acer’s bid to practical, yet powerful 2-in-1 laptops. This market is dominated by ASUS and HP. However, we’ve noticed a significant number of models being launched this year, which are more stylish and more desirable than the company’s usual lineup. The Acer Spin 5 SP513-51-51VX is no different.
Lenovo’s 2-in-1 convertible notebook series has just been refreshed with a couple of new models. The Lenovo Flex 4 80VD0007US model I’ll review today is a sturdy, mid-range touch enabled convertible laptop that comes with good hardware and plenty of features for a sub $750 laptop (as of 11/1/2016).
The new line of convertible laptops from Acer, called the Spin 5, offer a competitive range of hardware components, features and build quality. I’ll have a look at the series’ flagship device, the Acer Spin 5 SP513-51-55ZR.
HP has recently began upgrading the ENVY series to better align the technology up to modern standards. The all-new HP ENVY 13-ab016nr notebook is a finely crafted device and a healthy competitor to Dell’s XPS, ASUS’ ZenBook and Acer’s Swift series.
The new Swift series from Acer have already hit the shelves as a direct response to ASUS’s and Dell’s successful ultrabooks. The Acer Swift 3 SF314-51-52W2 model is the most affordable one, with Swift 5 and Swift 7 models aiming towards a more premium oriented customer base.
